Who We Are
Our number one priority is providing our rescues with the best possible life.
Our accomplishments to date include the expansion of Siri and Kona’s enclosure, giving presentations at schools and events, and educating the public about the crucial role that wolves play in wild ecosystems and the harm caused by the exotic pet trade.
We aim to continue expanding their enclosure, to contribute to and share educational resources, to elevate and partner with groups that share aligned values, and to advocate for the protection of natural habitat and keystone species.
Where We Are Heading
We are a passionate team at the beginning of a big vision: to create fully equipped spaces for rehabilitating native wildlife for eventual release.
We are in the process of incorporating as a non-profit, and a member of our team is completing formal rehabilitation education.
While we are not yet rehabilitating native wildlife, we are laying the groundwork to begin. Our long-term mission is to build a network of regionally focused wildlife sanctuaries across Canada, grounded in local ecology, culture, and conservation needs. These sanctuaries will provide:
- Safe rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife
- Forever homes for unreleasable animals
- Place-based education that reconnects people with the land
- Stewardship initiatives focused on water, habitat, and wild corridors.
We are excited to share more moving forward and hope you will continue to follow our journey. Whether you visit our sanctuary, follow us online, or support us with time or resources, you become part of a movement to protect what’s wild and irreplaceable in Alberta, and across Canada.
